RESEARCH

My research interests lie in how nitrogen cycles through organisms and their surrounding environment as well as how humans can affect or alter the natural nitrogen cycling in marine ecosystems. While my previous research has been focused on denitrification from shellfish, oysters in particular, I have now shifted to nitrogen cycling in corals and coral reefs using nitrogen isotopes.
